Getting started
Sign in, explore the demo personas, then create your own workspace and event.
This page gets you from zero to a working event: sign in, look around with the demo personas, then create your own workspace and event.
Go to app.opensesh.io/login. You can sign in three ways: with a password, with a magic link (click Email me a magic link and open it from your inbox — submitters and speakers use this flow too, so no one has to remember a password), or with one of the one-click demo personas below.
Try the demo personas
The demo workspace ships with the event AI.Engineer Sandbox — NYC 2026 and a set of personas that cover every role:
| Persona | Role | What you'll see | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dana | demo@opensesh.io | Organizer (admin) | The full admin sidebar: Overview, Speaker CRM, Submissions, Sessions, Content, Speakers, Call for Papers, Evaluation, Agenda, Widgets, and more |
| Rey | reviewer@opensesh.io | Reviewer | A collapsed sidebar with just Overview and My Reviews |
| Maya Chen | maya.chen@retrievallabs.ai | Speaker | The speaker portal with all tasks complete |
| Lina Haddad | lina.haddad@checkpoint.health | Speaker | The portal with tasks still pending |
| Jamal Reed | jamal.reed@agentdesk.co | Speaker | A profile with a missing bio, useful for testing readiness checks |
Deep-link into a persona
Append ?demo=organizer, ?demo=reviewer, or ?demo=speaker to the login URL to jump straight
into a role.
The admin Overview page is the best first stop: it shows Submissions, Review progress, Speakers, and Agenda cards plus a Program lifecycle checklist that walks the whole flow — set up the event library, open the call for papers, collect submissions, evaluate proposals, send decisions, onboard speakers, then schedule and publish.
Create a workspace and event
Sign in with your own account
Use a password or a magic link — either works.
Create an organization
This is your workspace. Organizations hold members, the speaker CRM, and API keys. Invite teammates from the organization settings dialog (Profile, Members, Invitations); they accept at an /accept-invitation link.
Create an event inside the organization
Org owners and admins are automatically admins of every event; you can additionally add event members with admin or reviewer roles.
Work through Event Settings
Open Event Settings and go section by section: Basics (name, slug, dates), Schedule, Branding, Submissions, Access, and Integrations.
Seed the event library
Fill in Tracks, Formats, Rooms, Tags, and Levels under the library settings — the CFP form builder, evaluation, and agenda all bind to these shared lists.
From here, follow the lifecycle checklist: build a form in Call for Papers, review what comes in on the Submissions desk, and take accepted talks through Sessions to a published Agenda.
