Evaluation
Evaluation runs structured review rounds over your submissions. A round bundles criteria, a reviewer pool, assignments, and results — you can run several (for example a broad first pass, then a shortlist round).
Set up a round
Create a round from Evaluation (/admin/evaluation) and open it (/admin/evaluation/<roundId>). The round page has five tabs: Setup, Reviewers (n), Assignments (n), Progress, and Results.
On Setup, give the round a Name, an Opens / Closes window, and a Position (ordering among rounds).
Blind review
Optionally enable Blind review — reviewers then see submissions without speaker identities, so scores reflect content, not names.
Criteria come in three shapes:
| Shape | What it captures |
|---|---|
| Numeric score | Configurable min/max plus a Weight for the overall rating roll-up. |
| Dropdown | Categorical calls; the default options are Accept, Maybe, Reject. |
| Long text | Free-form comments. These are also what the decision email composer pulls from when prefilling feedback. |
Reviewers and assignments
Add reviewers
On Reviewers, add people by email with an optional Assignment cap, then click Add reviewer. Each reviewer gets a copyable Reviewer access path — reviewers sign in and see a stripped-down sidebar with just Overview and My Reviews.
Distribute the work
On Assignments, filter by track, select submissions, and Assign selected (n) to chosen reviewers — or unassign the same way. Auto-distribute spreads unassigned submissions evenly across the pool while respecting each reviewer's cap.
Track progress
The Progress tab shows a per-reviewer table: how many assignments each person has completed versus outstanding. From here you can send reminder emails to reviewers who are behind — reminders report honestly whether they were sent or captured in the demo inbox.
Results
The Results tab is the scoreboard: one column per criterion, aggregated per submission, with Export CSV for offline analysis.
Decided rows stay put
Decided submissions remain visible here — deciding never removes a row from results.
AI-assisted review
If the deployment has an Anthropic API key configured, Run AI review scores submissions against your criteria automatically. Without a key the button is disabled (see Deployment).
AI scores are advisory, and humans stay in charge: any reviewer or admin can override an AI score, and the row is labeled "Overrode AI score" so it's always clear which numbers came from a person.
